Simple answer is that many photographers use the longer session time to charge you more money. With thousands of photoshoots of experience, we can cover up to 10 settings/poses take on average 250 photographs of which we average 40-60 really fantastic images.
You will receive a link to an online gallery with your high resolution files within 24-48 hours. Be careful with low priced photographers that say it will take them 4-8 weeks, as many clients have been burned or "ghosted" never to see their photos. Avoiding low end photographers will save you heartache in the long run. Here is a common post we see on Facebook groups, and its very sad.

Wind is prevalent on Maui, and most of the time will not affect your photoshoot. We will place clients with long hair appropriately so it looks natural.
Rain is forecast almost daily, and usually never appears in Wailea. On the west side it does get very rainy at time, and another reason we don't do photoshoots there. It is very unpredictable.
Now, on the other hand, we LOVE clouds! Because clouds not only add drama to the photos, they soften the light giving more contrast and tonality.
The simple answer is NO, for several important reasons.
1. It is illegal to conduct commercial photography in Kaanapali. Fines can be up to $10,000.

3. Sunsets are best viewed from Wailea, as the sun sets directly West of our shore.
If you book far enough in advance we can do photoshoots half-way at Sugar Beach.

Because of the time change, your little "keiki" will tend to burn out early in the afternoon as their bodies are not accustomed to the time change. We often recommend a sunrise session for families with children under 2 years old. Please make sure they are fed, and bring a beach toy.
No. You will be rushed and exhausted. What we often recommend that if that is your only free day, then we suggest a beautiful sunrise photoshoot in Wailea, or if you are driving from the West side of the island, then we can conduct it at Kanaha Beach, which is next to the airport and is gorgeous with turquoise ocean colors in the morning.
Yes! we have a wonderful wedding officiant that can be booked along with us. Sessions tend to run an hour or more and are priced accordingly. We cover all the details including flowers, permits and photography.

Yes and no. Changing outfits will take time away from your session. Many run the risk of losing out on that perfect sunset spot. We will not do a complete posing repeat if you decide you wish to change outfits. It is up to you to decide when and we will press on with the remainder of the planned photoshoot.
